Q: When will my order ship out?

A: Your undies will ship between two to three weekdays after you order. We manually process every order from our studio in Oakland, CA. We ship out Monday-Friday except holidays. We offer $5 first class shipping via USPS and $10 USPS Priority Mail shipping. You will receive a confirmation after your order is processed and we will email you a tracking number after the package has been shipped.

Shipping USPS first class international to Canada is $12 and to all other countries the shipping is $22 (with a few exceptions). International Priority mail is $40. Tracking numbers for international orders may or may not update when the package has reached the destination country depending on the mail service in that country. International customers are responsible for all customs fees. Once your package has landed in your country we are not able to contact any foreign postal services on your behalf. International shipping can take between 1-8 weeks depending on the country and their shipping and customs processes. Please contact us if you haven't received after 8 weeks.

A: Sure! Ship back to us unworn and we're happy to refund you minus the cost of shipping. You can email us for a free shipping code if you want to purchase it in a different size. Sales are final after 30 days. Please see the returns page for more details.

Q: How do you dye your garments?

A: We dye everything in small batches using fiber-reactive dyes that bind to the cloth. They are non-toxic and compostable. Because of the nature of small batch dyes there can be slight color variations. Sometimes it can be difficult to find an exact color match for a bra/underwear set but we always try to match it as best as we can!

Q: What kind of thread do you use?

A: We use organic cotton thread to sew our garments. Cotton thread is not as stretchy as nylon thread which is traditionally what most garments are sewn with. We choose cotton both because it is better for the environment, will decompose at the end of its life and also because it feels nice on our skin and dyes to match our pretty colors. The downside to cotton thread is that the threads can break if the garments are stretched past a certain point. It is important to get the right size so that you don’t stretch the garment too far. Write us with any sizing questions you may have!

Q: What kind of fabric do you use?

A: All of our fabrics are made from USA grown organic cotton. Most of our garments are made from 100% organic cotton and a few are made from 90% organic cotton with an added 10% spandex made from recycled bottles for stretch. If you are sensitive to spandex, we recommend reading through each product description to make sure the item you are purchasing is 100% organic cotton. Our cotton is certified organic by the bail by the Texas Department of Agriculture and the USDA. We do not have GOTS certification because that is for imported organic cotton from countries where they do not have reputable agencies to certify them. We are in the process of transitioning all of our garments to 100% organic cotton.

Q: What kind of elastic do you use?

A: We have two types of elastic. Our original elastic is woven in the US from cotton and natural rubber. The elastic in our underwear and leggings is always covered with fabric. Most of our bra straps are made with uncovered elastic with the exception of the cross bra. Our elastic is soft and sensitive and fully compostable. We are using a new elastic that is entirely made from natural rubber elastic and is also fully compostable (this elastic is never seen and is always inside the seams of undies and bras.

Q: How do I care for my pansies?

A: For undies and clothes throw them in the machine, wash cold with delicates. For your bras we recommend hand washing and hang drying inside or outside of direct sunlight. For the undies and clothes we occasionally put in the dryer low heat but hang drying is best for the fabric and the environment! Washing by hand and air drying will prolong the life of the bra! If you do wash in a machine, put your bras in a delicates bag so the elastic doesn't get caught/stretched on anything. All of our garments are preshrunk during the dyeing process.

We use the most natural cotton/rubber elastic we can find and sometimes that means it can be senstive to being stretched and worn and occasionally the elastic threads may come out or warp. High heat and UV rays will warp the elastic. We reccomend just snipping the threads that come out and continue wearing. When stretched on your body it should look and wear fine.

Q: How do I extend the life of my bra?

A: First note the care instruction from above! We reccomend rotating between multiple bras and allowing the elastic in your bra to rest between wears.

After being worn a lot, usually 6 months to a year, depending on how often it is worn and your body type, the natural cotton/rubber elastic in your bra will begin to wear down. Natural oils from your body can wear down your undergarments. You may notice the straps are beginning to loosen. We recommend stitching the back straps down an extra length to extend the life of your bra straps. Tutorial forthcoming!

If you have worn through your straps and they no longer have any stretch left write us for replacement elastic!

Q: How do you package your orders?

A: We print your invoice on recycled paper and put the items directly in our recycled paper envelopes so there is no plastic involved!
