Goals & standards

  • You can get around with just a keyboard with clear focus markers.
  • You can zoom in as far as you need.
  • Images have written descriptions for screen readers.
  • Our animations are small, and we turn them off if your device asks for less motion.
  • We use the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG 2.2, level AA) as our guide, and check the site against them by hand and with automated tools.

Can something be better?

Checkout runs on Squarespace’s own pages, so we can’t change how it works. If it, or anything else here, gives you trouble, write to us and tell us which page. We’ll fix what we can and help you with your order.
